Leeds head to the Midlands on Boxing Day hoping to end their Leicester hoodoo – we have never won in five visits to the Walkers Stadium. There would be no better time to change that and make it a terrific 10 unbeaten. Andy O'Brien and Alex Bruce are obviously doubts and if they miss out I'd stick with Leigh Bromby and Neill Collins. I fancy Leeds for another win away with Gradel tormenting his old side and scoring the winning goal.

Nine game unbeaten run, second in the league, pundits purring – what could possibly go wrong? Answer, Leicester away. The Foxes comprehensively outplayed us at Elland Road and will be smarting from their 'dancing on ice' escapade at Ipswich last week. The Whites are in tremendous form and spirit and should not fear City but this maybe one fixture too many. A victory here would be the best of the season in my view, a draw very satisfactory but my honest opinion is a narrow defeat.

Prediction: Leicester City 2 Leeds United 1

The Walkers Stadium hasn't been the most fortuitous of grounds for Leeds. City have beaten us twice already this season and have picked up the pace since, though they had a dismal game at Portman Road last week in terrible conditions. No doubt Sven will be looking for a reaction. Happy second anniversary to Simon Grayson – I believe he is the man to take us back to the top and he is doing a great job. A copy of the result from his first game in charge would not go amiss.

Second in the table and on a nine-match unbeaten run, Christmas has certainly come early for United. However a visit perennial bogey side Leicester City awaits. The hosts have already outfoxed the Whites twice this season so it's high time that this was reversed. A wide Walkers Stadium pitch should provide Messrs Gradel and Snodgrass with ample opportunity, but United's rearguard will be tested in what is likely to be a physical encounter.

Confidence will be oozing out of the United players when they face the Foxes on Boxing Day. The last time we played in Leicester it was a top of the table League One clash that we narrowly lost. This time around we sit firmly near the top while Leicester languish in the bottom half of the Championship table. City played great football at Elland Road so I know what they capable of but if United attack like they have recently we will put fox hunting back on the Boxing Day agenda!

Prediction: Leicester City 1 Leeds United 2
