Horse racing fans are being given the chance to get tips from some of the biggest names in the sport at the Sky Bet Cheltenham Festival Preview Evening taking place tonight at Elland Road (March 5).

A panel will be previewing all the big races from the Cheltenham Festival, which takes place from 11-14 March, while there are prizes to be won in a charity cash raffle, including free Sky for a year and hospitality at major race meetings.

The panel consists of Cheltenham and Grand National-winning jockey, Jason Maguire, who will be on-hand to offer guests his thoughts on all the big races. Alongside him are Sky Sports racing presenter, Alex Hammond, Racing UK analysts Niall Hannity and Mark Howard, Irish journalist and broadcaster, Donn McClean, and Sky Bet Racing PR Manager, Michael Shinners. editor, Dave Ord, will be hosting.

Speaking about the preview evening, Sky Bet’s Michael Shinners said: “The Sky Bet Cheltenham Festival Preview Evening is a great opportunity for racing fans to start finalising their thoughts for the big meeting. They’ll have the opportunity to speak to the panel about the upcoming Festival and hear their thoughts on the leading contenders and best bets for the week.”

Tickets are priced at £10 with doors opening for the event at 7pm. All guests will be treated to a pie and peas supper, as well as receiving a free £5 bet from Sky Bet (over 18s only).
