Slater triumphs in all-Lindrick duel with Eales-Smith to land Yorkshire junior crown
Slater, who went so close to a national double before placing fourth in last week’s English women’s amateur championship at The Wilmslow, carded 71 69, while Eales-Smith returned two 71s.
Cookridge Hall and Sand Moor dual member Toni-Louise Naylor was third (73 78).

Bronze Division winner was Cherry Marley (The Oaks) with an 18-hole Stableford score of 40pts, which saw her keep Romanby’s Lizzie Edson at bay by one point.
