Force claimed their second win in three games as they outlasted rivals Bristol Flyers for a thrilling overtime triumph last weekend.

As a result, the Yorkshire club, who have won four of the five BBL meetings between the two clubs, go into the weekend two points behind Plymouth Raiders and Cheshire Phoenix, who hold the seven and eight positions respectively.

Force point guard, Marek Klassen said: “Friday was a great win [against Bristol] and we are hoping to bring a chip on our shoulder to every home game, just like we did last weekend.

“It’s important that we defend our home court in the next couple weeks and play like each away game is a championship game.

“It’s been a great experience so far, being in Leeds. The people involved with the programme have been very open and approachable. Similarly the team is filled with a lot of high-quality guys that are willing to put the work in.

“I think we have the potential to make the play-offs. It won’t be easy, but if it was, everyone would do it.

“If our team is connecting on both sides of the court then we have the potential to be a top team in this league.”
