Your Leeds United views: Bristol Rovers striker is tailor made for Whites

Transfer talk has been dominating debate among the Leeds United faithful.

I See Bristol Rovers (that club that’s so well run Darryl Clarke supposedly turned us down for) have allowed the contract of a striker who scored 28 goals for them last season to expire.

Matty Taylor scored the goals at the same level as £3m man Kemar Roofe. Matty Taylor is available on a free. Who is the better value? Get Matty Taylor!

Quality signings are still needed

I’M Happy with the progress made by Leeds United so far, but then I was happy with Lee Erwin, Chris Wood and Jordan Botaka last year!

We still have not added the quality needed to make us promotion candidates despite three or four Premier League-known entities being out there.

I can’t believe that the owners are really not going to splash some cash.

Sacko’s chances not really rated

Oh dear, Hadi Sacko is yet to play for Sporting Lisbon’s first team.

He’s only represented their B side, scoring 10 goals in 54 games.

I don’t rate his chances in the Championship then – where do they find ’em?

One out, one in policy at Leeds

Looks like Lee Erwin will be making way for Hadi Sacko signing on (at Leeds United).

Well, it surely does look like a one out, one in policy now.

How on earth will this squad be any stronger than last season when we have lost Liam Bridcutt, Tom Adeyemi, Mustapha Carayol, Giuseppe Bellusci, Scott Woott0n, Tommaso Bianchi and now with the rumours surrounding Lee Erwin.

All have been replaced by a striker playing in one of the worst leagues in Europe, an unknown playing for a Sporting B team and a centre-back who has played 43 times in four seasons.

How can anyone be positive with that so far?

Nevermind, maybe (new head coach) Garry Monk will turn out to be a miracle worker and things will turn out just fine!
