Having already won their League Cup, Leeds sealed the league title when Rothwell were unable to fulfil their last fixture, leaving Leeds four points clear of Norristhorpe.

The team is captained by Khloe Cooper with Carla Dyson vice-captain and Lee Townend head of youth structure. And Cooper beamed: “You cannot over-state how remarkable our girls have been since day one. They have shown the kind of passion for the club we dream of in our players and I have no doubt in the years ahead I will be just as proud seeing these girls progress through our system to senior level, bringing more success to the club in the future”.
