Key Battle - Kalvin Phillips v Luke Freeman

QPR have not posed much threat to anyone in the Championship but they boast a useful asset in Freeman whose creativity is underpinning some of their better results. Freeman has been involved in no fewer than 17 goals, assisting 12 and scoring five, and he will try to get at Leeds from the number 10 role. Phillips would do United a favour by wrapping him up.

Key Man - Matt Smith

A Leeds United old boy and a striker who comes up with goals for QPR regardless of how often he features. Smith has made more appearances as a substitute than as a starter this season but he has scored 11 time in the league, including three goals in his last five games. That tally has done nothing more than keep QPR in mid-table but his height and strength is something for Leeds to think about.

This is arguably the game of least consequence in the Championship and unlike Leeds’ trip to Norwich City last weekend, it does not even have the subplot of Wes Hoolahan’s last home appearance. QPR are awful away from Loftus Road, with three wins all term, so United should have the beating of them but motivation amongst both squads will be meagre. This has a draw written all over it.
