Luckily for them, there is still time to act, with the transfer window longer than usual due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Major deals could still be achieved in the final days of the window with Leeds United, Man City and Arsenal among the clubs still chasing crucial components of their squad for the remainder of the season.

Time is running out, however, with just days to go until the transfer window closes until January.

When did the Premier League transfer window open?

The English transfer window got underway on July 27 a day after the season finished.

When is the Premier League transfer deadline?

The English transfer window shut on October 5 before the UEFA squad deadline.

A domestic window in which Premier League sides can continue to trade with EFL teams will run until October 16, with a deadline at 5pm.

What happens to the January transfer window?

The winter transfer window will run from January 1 to January 31 as usual.
