Leeds will sign off for the November international break following Saturday night's Championship clash at West Bromwich Albion with a host of Whites players representing their countries over the next fortnight.

But Bielsa says Leeds will “take care” of those left behind with a run out against Carlos Corberan’s team, who are in Professional Development League action next Friday with a re-arranged fixture at home to Birmingham City at Thorp Arch (1pm).

Bielsa has frequently used Under-23s fixtures this season to provide game time for first team squad members who have not been playing regularly and Samuel Saiz, Jamal Blackman, Jack Harrison, Lewis Baker and Tyler Roberts were all named in a strong starting XI for the Whites 23s against Crewe last week.

Jack Clarke and Jamie Shackleton replaced Harrison and Baker respectively at the break. Asked what his priorities would be during the upcoming two-week international break, Bielsa said: “We still have the same obligations.

“We have a group of players who will stay at the club. And we will take care of them. Especially we will pay a lot of attention to those that don’t play regularly.

“And in the middle of next week we will play a game against the Under-23s and we will try to make it as if it is an official game.

“This game will allow the players to develop the fitness of the players who don’t play a lot.”
