Kyle Bartley also missed the trip to Hull City last time out with a one-game suspension and is back in contention to play against his former side but Albion will be without club captain Chris Brunt who will miss the Whites clash with a hamstring injury.

Darren Moore's side made a red-hot start to the season which saw them hit the summit of the Championship table in August following a number of resounding victories which included a 7-1 demolition of QPR at The Hawthorns.

Albion though have picked up only four points from the last 15 available after being hit with a number of injuries which has seen goals dry up in recent games. Despite the poor run of results the Baggies remain top of the goals scored chart (33) in the division ahead of Marcelo Bielsa's men (27) this season.

West Brom though have leaked goals themselves having conceded 24 in 16 games this campaign which has seen them slip to 7th in the table just a point outside the play-off spots ahead of tomorrow's fixtures.

What formation do West Brom play?

West Brom's preferred formation: 3-4-1-2

Albion often opt to play three at the back with two wing-backs in Matt Phillips and Kieran Gibbs. Moore selected Craig Dawson, Ahmed Hegazi, Tosin Adarabioyo as his three central defenders with Sam Johnstone taking up his usual place in goal at Hull City last time out.

Phillips took up his usual role on the right with Conor Townsend stepping in for the injured Gibbs at the KCOM. Jake Livermore is expected to line-up alongside the returning Gareth Barry in the centre with Chris Brunt set to miss out.

Due to the return of Dwight Gayle to the fold the Newcastle United loanee may partner Jay Rodriguez up front with playmaker Harvey Barnes behind but the 20-year-old partnered the former Burnley man with James Morrison taking up Barnes' usual role as an attacking midfielder due to injuries.
