Odion Ighalo is expected to play in Watford’s Barclays Premier League match against Aston Villa on Saturday, despite the death of his father last weekend.

Ighalo’s father died shortly after Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final defeat but the striker has trained this week and is available.

Etienne Capoue, however, will miss the game at Vicarage Road. The French midfielder sustained a knee injury at Wembley and is likely to sit out the remainder of the season.

Provisional squad: Gomes, Britos, Paredes, Holebas, Ekstrand, Behrami, Watson, Ighalo, Deeney, Abdi, Nyom, Anya, Prodl, Guedioura, Suarez, Pantilimon, Cathcart, Jurado.
