Felix Wiedwald - Redeemed himself with a save from Sylla as QPR threatened to level at 2-2 but there was no disguising his mistake or the fact that United’s goalkeepers keep making them. 5/10

Luke Ayling - Came under a bit of pressure initially but dealt with it well and was completely untroubled in the second half. 7/10

Pontus Jansson - Stuck to Matt Smith like a limpet and stopped him winning any significant headers. The perfect man for that sort of job. 7/10

Liam Cooper - Washington and Freeman saw half-chances early on but there was no way through United’s defence until Wiedwald’s blunder. 7/10

Gaetano Berardi - It seemed at first that Wszolek might cause him trouble but Leeds’ control of the game after the break limited the pressure on him. 6/10

Kalvin Phillips - Another good showing from one of two young midfielders who got a grip of a scrappy match eventually. Helped to give Leeds the dominance they needed. 7/10

Ronaldo Vieira - Second best against QPR’s midfield before the break, though not by much. A big improvement in the second 45 minutes made a difference. 7/10

Gjanni Alioski - Came into his own in Leeds’ strongest spell, causing trouble down QPR’s right and hanging up a delicious cross for Roofe to stick away. 8/10

Samuel Saiz - Loved the flow of the second half and the space he was given, and led the counter for Roofe’s hat-trick. Let a couple of good openings get away from him. 8/10

Kemar Roofe - Deadly. His finishing was impeccable and his switch to centre-forward made a huge impact, on Leeds and QPR. Took the match ball home. 9/10

Caleb Ekuban - Unfortunate to be looking at another injury lay-off but a glancing header aside, made no great impression during his time on the field. 5/10

Substitutes

Pawel Cibicki (for Ekuban, 38) - An enforced change which made a world of difference. Dangerous, showed a nice touches and, playing like this, he is worth a run. 8/10

Eunan O’Kane (for Alioski, 70) - Christiansen probably wanted to shore things up but Leeds looked just as dangerous with him on the field. 6/10

Matthew Pennington (for Vieira, 80) - Wouldn’t have been under any pressure had Wiedwald not shipped a goal. 5/10

Referee: Chris Kavanagh (Lancashire) - Some debatable calls here and there but you’d take this sort of refereeing performance most weeks. 7/10
