NOSTELL are seeking to bring in a new manager “as soon as possible” after the shock exit of manager Paul Lines.
Lines along with club chairman Simon Turfrey, dramatically left the club on Monday, despite efforts to persuade them to stay.
Lines cited Turfrey’s departure as the key reason for his decision.
A spokesman said: “We are very saddened because both Paul and Simon have done an excellent job.
“Since he was appointed in November, Paul has lifted us off the bottom of the table and taken us to our highest league finish in four years.
“He also provided us with a memorable night at Rotherham by guiding us to the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup final for the first time in our history.
“Simon has been a rock as a chairman, but we appreciate that he has growing business interests and reluctantly accept his resignation.
“We won’t forget their efforts and we wish them all the best for the future.
“We have to move on quickly though and appoint a new manager as soon as possible.”
