The Whites launched their home kit allowing season ticket holders to be among the first ones to purchase the new merchandise.

A number of squad members were in attendance across the four stores in the city with United owner Andrea Radrizzani cutting the ribbon to re-open the refurbished flagship store at the club's home which closed earlier this summer.

The new strip, which has returned to more traditional colours following last season's gold edition, has also gone down well with a number of Whites players.

"White is always nice to wear," revealed midfielder Lewis Baker.

"It's good times for the club opening the shop and it's nice to see the fans and community. Apparently it's less tight that it was last season so it's better for the players."

Ezgjan Alioski also praised the new strip: "It's nice, I feel good. Hopefully we can play as good as the kit is!

Forward Kemar Roofe also continued the Macedonian's sentiments: "I like it. It's clean, it's white and it's classic."

"We've been told about the sales for last year's kit and hopefully the performance this season will help as well. It's fun to mix with everyone and get a feel for everyone's excitement."
