LEEDS Schools FA Under-12s enjoyed a profitable trip to the seaside with a 6-0 success at Scarborough to end the month of November.

Will Emmerson headed home the Whites opener from a corner with Guy Davenport then releasing Kian Scales who made it 2-0 with a fine solo.

Leeds then added four more goals after the break with Lewis Branston first to lash home after an Oliver Spoors flick on. A quick-thinking Liam Ormsby then released Charlie Webb to convert Leeds’ fourth and after Owen Hindley had struck the crossbar, Branton neatly finished for his second and the visiting side’s fifth.

Leeds then finished in style with Webb repaying the favour to Ormsby who smashed an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box into the top corner.

Leeds Schools FA Under-11s A also had their shooting boots on as their first West Yorkshire League game of the campaign resulted in an 8-0 romp at Scarborough A. A hat-trick from Tom Spence led the goal glut with Ellis Wilson Gales also at the double.

Johnny White and Liam Dean also added a strike each with Scarborough also contributing an own goal.

Elsewhere, Hall Green United Under-16s fell to a 4-2 loss at Mount Pleasant Under-16s in Division Four of the Huddersfield League. Green carved out a number of good chances but missed a penalty and only Jake Wassell and Elliot Schofield were able to convert.

Kirkstall Crusaders Whites Under-13s maintained their fine start with a 5-2 victory at Beeston Juniors Under-13s in Division Four of the Garforth League. Bobby Ingham and man of the match Blake Berkeley both scored two with Barney Mguni netting a great header. Cam Zolfaghary also shone in his first game in goal while Jumarr Johnson was a tireless runner up front. Roy Villegas Parra, Jordan Thorne and Harry Crossland also proved strong in defence.

Elsewhere, league leaders Ossett Albion Under-12s extended their lead to six points in Division Two of the Huddersfield League thanks to a 4-1 victory against second placed Savile Town Under-12s. Full backs Luke McGrath and Tom Corney were outstanding for Albion whose goals came in pairs from Ben Clarke and Haydan Lindley-Spink. Tommy Wood was named player of the match.

In Division Three, Hall Green United Under-12s fell to a 6-2 reverse at home to Kirkheaton Under-12s. Two two-minute spells cost Green dear as the visitors scored two goals in each.

Green goals came from Luke Pollard and Max Fletcher with both supplied from player of the match Louis Ward. Joshua Geary was the best attitude winner.

Elsewhere, Horsforth St Margaret’s Colts Under-12s maintained their 100 per cent record in Division A (9-a-side) of the Garforth League with an 8-2 romp at Stanningley Albion Red Under-12s. A Michael Wood brace put Horsforth in the driving seat with Charlie Webb then bagging Horsforth’s third before the break.

Webb then set up Charlie Blacoe for the first of his two goals before Joska Westerman fed Webb for his second and Horsforth’s sixth.

Stanningley then broke away to score but Westerman got Horsforth back on the goal trail with a converted Stanningley penalty then followed by the Colts’ eighth through a Jack Appleyard glancing header.

In Division 5B of the Huddersfield League, Hall Green United Under-11s bagged a 4-2 success at home to Lindley Lightning Under-11s with Zac Groves notching a hat-trick.

A well timed cross from Cian Small set up the first for Groves who bagged two more before Green netted a fourth via a corner from Josh Norbury.

In Division Two of the Garforth League, Eight-man Pudsey Juniors Greens Under-11s put on a brave display before losing out 4-3 at home to Colton Juniors Knights Under-11s.

Colton - depleted by illness and injury - went close to bagging an unlikely point through a Jacob Foster brace and Gabe Hopkinson strike.

In Division Four, Colton Juniors Under-11s Whites extended their winning run to seven matches with a 6-3 victory at Wortley Under-11s.

Will Lobley and Luca Amini both scored twice with Colton’s other goals coming from sub Jack Murray, who scored with his first touch, and an own goal.

Joseph Lydon covered every blade of grass to win the man-of-the-match award.

Elsewhere, Hall Green United Under-9s raced to a 7-1 victory at home to Hepworth Falcons Under-9s in the Huddersfield League Cup.

A hat-trick for Daniel Myers and a brace from man of the match Sam Stokes plus goals for Jack Batley and Lewis Skinner put Green in seventh heaven.

Hall Green United Under-9s B were dumped out of the Huddersfield League Cup after a 7-0 reverse at home to Shelley. The battling Ethan Auty took the Green man of the match award.

On the girls’ football front, Farsley AFC Ladies Under-15s twice came back from behind to salvage a point through a 2-2 draw at home to Kirkstall Crusaders Under-15s in Division One of the West Riding Girls Football League.

Chloe Rossiter set up Aaliyah Allen to level in the first half with a well taken strike but the home side went back in front early in the second half.

It looked like Farsley would go home empty handed until Holly Buchan’s wonder strike from 25 yards out looped over the home keeper and into the top corner of the net to make it 2-2.

In Division Two of the West Riding Girls League, a patient Kirkstall Crusaders Girls Under-13s recorded a 4-0 victory over Castleford White Rose Falcons Under-13s.

The lethal strike partnership of Melissa Maw and Ellouise Williamson scored two apiece following some great link up play.

The Kirkstall defence of Ellie Parkin, Abigail Bullock and Rebecca Starbuck were also impassable in front of keeper Erica Bastian.
