Kirkstall Crusaders made it six wins in the last six games after beating Burley Trojans 4-3 in the Harrogate and District League Intermediate Cup.

Goals from Ricky Radcliffe, Nathan Ellis and a brace from Simon Bradshaw put Kirkstall into the quarter finals.

Solid performances also came from captain Johnny Milner and man of the match Mark McGregor.

Also through are AFC Hillside who hammered visiting Pannal Sports Reserves 7-0 and Kirk Deighton Rangers Reserves who edged out Boroughbridge A 5-3 at Barr Field.

Hampsthwaite United also obliged 5-4 at Pateley Bridge.

In the first round of the Senior Cup, Clifford saw off visiting Pannal Sports 4-2 while Kirkby Malzaerd recorded a 2-1 triumph at Harlow Hill.

Rawdon Old Boys were 1-0 winners at home to Knaresborough Celtic.

In Saturday’s sole Colin Lowe Memorial Premier Division game played, Beckwithshaw Saints bagged their first league win of the season as visiting Wetherby Athletic were beaten 2-0.

In the only Jan Sinker Memorial Division One game played, Hampsthwaite United moved three points clear at the top with a 5-4 success at Dalton Athletic. One result stood out like a sore thumb in the Wakefield League as Walton FC raced to a 12-3 victory at second-bottom Old Bank WMC in the Premier.

Walton sit fourth but six points behind leaders Crofton Sports who marched on as visiting Bramley Athletic were beaten off 5-0.

Beechwood Gate stayed five points behind in second and with a game in hand after scraping a 1-0 triumph at FC Gawthorpe.

Fieldhead Hospital are third in goal difference and with a game in hand after beating visiting Prince Of Wales 2-0.
