The need for a deadball specialist and the Sky TV row have dominated debate among the Leeds United faithful

Very encouraging performances [by Leeds United], well done Steve Evans.
For me, the thing we really lack is a dead ball specialist.
Throughout the decades we always had someone like Lorimer, Currie, Sheridan, Zico, Harte, McAllister and more recently McCormack.
But I get really frustrated when we get some great opportunities and waste them like Luke Murphy did against Derby County.
Alex Mowatt seems like he has the potential to develop into this type of player, but our freekicks and corners etc are pretty woeful at the moment.
Moving in the right direction

A strong January is needed to keep the season alive [for Leeds United].
Steve Evans has got the lads moving in the right direction.
Souleymane Doukara must be given a run in the team. Two strikers against Milton Keynes?
However, a good point again [against Derby County]. Hope to chalk up three points on Saturday.
Results matter in ‘legend’ bid

So, after the madness with Sky TV, we end up unbeaten for the whole of December.
Obviously, we need additions in January and I hope Liam Bridcutt stays, and Sam Byram too. I said in the summer, like the rest of us, that we did great business in the market.
But I also said there was no point in putting all our eggs in one basket and blowing all our transfer money in one go.
It’s the rules of the league not to spend over your means, so, hopefully, next month is going to be an interesting time for all so we can push on.
I’m having fun this season myself and definitely enjoying the improvement in the squad, and Massimo Cellino isn’t picking the team.
Well done to Steve Evans, by the way.
Like everyone, I admit I was wrong about you but, still, I never slated you; it’s results that matter.
Keep it up and you could become a legend!
