Momentum and confidence are the two buzz words dominating debate among the Leeds United faithful ahead of the festive fixtures schedule.

After the Hull victory, a good result against Charlton is vital.
Momentum and confidence could drag us into the play-off picture.
Hopefully, (head coach) Steve Evans will stick with the same formation.
Liam Bridcutt was a different class, which allowed Lewis Cook and Tom Adeyemi the freedom to get forward.
With the struggling Charlton and Preston, along with the out-of-sorts Wolves and Forest, (among forthcoming fixtures), we should pick up more than Redders’ (former head coach Neil Redfearn) woeful one point last December.
Only a victory is good enough

We will all see this coming Saturday if Leeds have finally woken up (this season).
Nothing but a win is good enough.
Massino Cellino (the club’s owner and president) should back (head coach) Steve Evans come January.
From what I’ve seen, he knows his footie and has the passion and desire needed to manage Leeds United.
On on on.
Run of results is essential

So many false dawns with results this season for Leeds United – unexpected wins against top teams and shocking defeats against the bottom clubs.
We need to get a run of decent results until the fans start to believe.
Why, oh why does Steve Evans need to be able to convince Massimo Cellino we can properly look up though to ensure backing.
Surely an owner of any sense, commitment and honesty backs the club and manager with players whatever the league position.
Surely there’s just as much need when battling relegation as chasing promotion.
No cash for the January sales

Sounds like no money will be forthcoming in January (for Leeds United manager Steve Evans to add to his squad in the loan window) – now there’s a surprise.
It’s just what we all need to spur us on through Christmas. Hey-ho, hope we win on Saturday (against Charlton Athletic).
