Leeds United fanzine The Square Ball is raffling off a special edition calendar signed by the Elland Road squad.

The Whites fanzine are raising funds for Leeds Hospitals Charity - previously named Leeds Cares - and have already raised £2300, with the final prize draw figure to be added, through sales of the 2021 edition which has now sold out.

The calendar is made up of illustrations published and designed by The Square Ball contributors and celebrates the success of 2020 for the club after returning to the Premier League.

Leeds captain Liam Cooper bought a box of calendar's for the first team squad before arranging the players to sign one and return it to be raffled off.

Supporters can now enter the online raffle for the exclusive signed edition, with £5 buying one entry into the prize draw which will be made on Monday (January 18).

The Square Ball has now raised over £40,000 for Leeds Hospitals Charity alone since 2010, with their fundraising surpassing the £65,000 mark overall for a number of local and national causes.

"With someone very close to The Square Ball being diagnosed with Breast Cancer a couple of years ago, we will be celebrating the success of their treatment and recovery, by raising some money to help others do the same," Paul O'Dowd of The Square Ball said.

"All of the profits from the sale of our 2021 Calendar will be donated to the Leeds Cancer Centre and the Leeds Breast Cancer Awareness Group, through our friends at Leeds Cares. As football fans we go in hard and go in high so #StudsUpToCancer."

Paul Watkins, Leeds Cares Director of Fundraising, said: “We’re enormously grateful to The Square Ball for their ongoing support of Leeds Cares, particularly their fundraising in aid of Leeds Cancer Centre and Breast Cancer Action.
