Will Leeds United stay up? Predicted finishing position following major change in Premier League relegation battle

Leeds United are just two points clear of the Premier League drop zone after 12 games played following a weekend in which they were the only team in the bottom seven to experience a defeat.

Norwich City hauled themselves off the foot of the table via a 2-1 victory at home to 13th-placed Southampton in new Canaries boss Dean Smith's first game in charge which left Newcastle United at the bottom of the pile.

The Magpies shared a 3-3 draw with 14th-placed visitors Brentford as recently appointed Newcastle boss Eddie Howe looked on.

The Geordies now have six points, two less than second-bottom Norwich who are a point and a place behind third-bottom Burnley who picked up another point at the weekend through a 3-3 draw at home to tenth-placed Crystal Palace, a side who visit Elland Road next Tuesday night.

There is then a two-point gap to fourth-bottom Leeds who were the only team in the division's bottom seven to be beaten at the weekend via Sunday's 2-1 reverse at Tottenham Hotspur.

Marcelo Bielsa's Whites are two points behind both fifth-bottom Watford and sixth-bottom Aston Villa, another two clubs where there have been recent managerial changes.

The Hornets thumped Manchester United 4-1 at Vicarage Road under Claudio Ranieri whilst Villa left it late to record a 2-0 win against United's next opponents Brighton at Villa Park in new boss Steven Gerrard's first game in charge.

Leeds are also two points behind 14th-placed Brentford who have gone five league games without a victory.

After all the recent changes both on the management and points front in the bottom half, this is where Leeds are predicted to finish based on the latest odds for relegation, highest to lowest, starting with who is envisaged to win the league.

United's odds have changed markedly since the start of the month.
