Where are they now? The last Leeds United team to defeat Liverpool at Elland Road amid Mark Viduka masterclass

Leeds United host the Premier League's reigning champions Liverpool at Elland Road on Monday night - but where are the last team to defeat the Reds at Elland Road?

It has been 21 years since the Whites toppled Liverpool on home soil in LS11.

The game on November 4, 2000, though, has gone down in Leeds United folklore for Mark Viduka' s stunning display.

David O'Leary's charges welcomed Gerard Houllier's men to Elland Road for a top flight clash for the ages.

The Reds appeared to be cruising to victory after opening up a two-goal lead in the lunchtime kick-off.

Sami Hyypia and Christian Ziege struck but it was summer signing Viduka who delivered a flawless display in front of goal.

The Australian hauled the Whites level either side of the half-time interval in a frantic match before Vladimir Smicer once again put the visitors ahead.

Viduka - who cost a snip at £6m from Scottish Premiership outfit Celtic - then scored twice in two minutes to blow the roof off United's home ground and snatch a 4-3 victory from the jaws of defeat.

"Every time I had a sniff of goal I scored, but I have actually played better. These days are very rare, but it was a fantastic win for us," Viduka reflected post-match.

Here, we take a look back at the team that featured on that memorable day in West Yorkshire and see where they are now:
