Leeds United always anticipated a quiet January on the transfer front, but there may yet be a flurry of outgoing activity on deadline day.

As the YEP reported earlier in the month, the Whites were open to the idea of Under 23s central defender Oliver Casey going out on loan and have had a number of clubs expressing interest in the Thorp Arch academy product.

As of yet Leeds have not had an offer they consider acceptable, but movement is still possible before tonight's 11pm deadline.

The rest of today's business will likely be outside of Marcelo Bielsa's first team set-up.

Jay-Roy Grot is expected to secure a permanent move to a club in Holland.

The 22-year-old has been training in his native country this season as he recovers from a serious knee injury, but the outfit with whom he has been spending time were only offering a six-month deal.

Another Whites forward considered surplus to requirements, Rafa Mujica, is set for another loan deal in Spain.

As for Pablo Hernandez, his boyhood club Castellon were keen to take him from Elland Road but the Whites still feel the 35-year-old has a role to play in the Premier League this season.
