Forshaw on Sky pre-match
“It’s massive. A couple of the teams below us yesterday got results. We’re aware we need to put a run together now.”
Marcelo Bielsa pre-match
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa to Sky Sports: “We want to correct things that happened in the last game, get behind a bit more in the attack and make it more difficult for them to play out from the back.
“Even if their victory was fair, we were always able to be in the game and we avoided marked differences between us.
“For us every game that we play, the victory is something we can’t go without given how we started the season.
“In the first half of the season we haven’t picked up as many points as we’d have wanted.”
Did you consider asking to postpone this game? “No, no. We don’t have any reasons to ask for it.”
David Moyes pre-match
West Ham boss David Moyes to Sky Sports: “We’ve been playing quite well and starting to get a few goals away from home. We’ve not really had one player who has stood out and got 15 goals but it’s good that everyone is chipping in.
“I think Jarrod Bowen can continue to improve. He’s young enough to keep moving on. He showed very early on he’s capable of doing that. He’s playing very well. he needs to keep his goals and assists up but they’re the things that get you talked about so hopefully that keeps happening.
“Let’s go through the process and do what we can to win the game. Leeds are a really tough opponent. Leeds have had a couple of injuries and Covid but the games are all different. We will have to play well.
“We’ve had injuries and Covid as well but for some reason we’ve not had enough to have any games off.”
