Leif Davis is a regular in Carlos Corberan's under-23s side at Thorp Arch having signed from League Two side Morecambe in July. The 18-year-old has played as a left-back in Bielsa's 4-1-4-1 system but also in recent weeks has been deployed as a centre-back to partner both Aapo Halme and Connor Shaugnessy in the heart of defence.

Davis has played a key role in helping United's development squad in their strong early season form and has shown great promise in the opening months of the campaign. The defender possess great pace down the flanks and has shown strong ball playing skills in the Professional Development League so far.
