However - due to coronavirus - Zak's next trip is in doubt due to match cancellations.

Zak is now off school due to closures, so decided to recreate Ayling's recent volley goal and knee-slide celebration outside his home.

Zak's father Tommy Kenny, 36, told the Yorkshire Evening Post how his son's dream is to follow in the footsteps of Kalvin Phillips and go 'from childhood fan to Elland Road idol'.

Tommy, a musician, said: "Zak inherited the love for all things Leeds United.

"So much so that he wanted to grow his hair like his favourite footy star Luke Ayling.

"Zak's first trip over to Elland Road was a memorable one, the infamous 1-1 draw with Aston Villa at the end of last season, whilst his 2nd trip, this seasons 2-0 victory at home to Hull City marked his First win.

"However, his next trip to Elland Road on May 2nd is in some doubt due to the Covid-19 breakout and subsequently all schools in Ireland have closed due to the virus, but it isn't all bad.

"Zak had the superb idea to recreate that Luke Ayling wonder strike from Leeds United's 2-0 victory at Elland Road, the "He's even got the ponytail out" quote during the commentary just sends him in to convulsions of laughter, he thinks it's great, because he can do it due to his flowing locks."

Zak - described by his father as an 'outgoing, funny kid' - plays football for top Irish academy Belvedere FC, a club that has produced such players as Wes Houlihan, Matt Doherty and a host of Irish internationals.

Tommy added: "He really wanted to recreate the goal that sent him ecstatic only a couple of weeks ago & I knew I had to help.

"My editing skills are limited, but I knew I could put it together and the reaction has been fantastic, people love it and it's become a light amongst alot of dull news, especially on social media."

Tommy said Zak's dream is to one day follow in the footsteps of Kalvin Phillips and go from childhood fan to Elland Road idol.
