Hernandez returned from the hamstring problem picked up in the clash at Fulham four days before Christmas when coming on as a second-half substitute for Mateusz Klich in last weekend's 2-0 loss at home to Sheffield Wednesday.

And now the Spaniard comes back into the starting XI to replace Douglas who is absent with a hip issue meaning Stuart Dallas will move to left back.

QPR boss Mark Warburton has made three changes to his side but former Whites winger Jack Clarke has to make do with a place on the bench.

Liam Kelly replaces Joe Lumley in goal and Conor Masterston makes a full debut at centre-back.
