The YEP jury looks ahead to Leeds United’s clash with Swansea City.

Following what can only be described as another cheap two points dropped, Leeds head to Wales for the longest journey of the season. With Johnson suspended, a new midfielder may be brought in on loan before you read this, if not I would like to see us go 4-4-2 with Somma partnering Becchio up front. The defence has to tighten up now – 52 goals conceded this season sums it up. We must avoid defeat at the Liberty Stadium but I just cannot see it.
Prediction: Swansea City 3 Leeds United 1

One league defeat since October, sixth position approaching March, in a very competitive division – yet still a sense of frustration that it could be so much better. The side is collectively fragile, McCartney a defensive liability and the midfield not protecting the back four. But we are a constant threat with our attacking prowess, with goals likely from several sources. The long trip to Swansea will almost certainly produce drama and entertainment, as for a result, I’m not that confident.
Prediction: Swansea City 2 Leeds United 2

It’s fair to say that United dropped two points against Barnsley on Tuesday night, as we were held to a draw despite being gifted two goals and being a goal ahead on two occasions. Max Gradel looked to have secured the points but, a half hearted free-kick from Trippier ensured that the points were shared. Our opponents tomorrow, on the other hand, went second in the table with a win at Coventry. I’m not convinced our trip to Swansea will yield a much needed three points.
Prediction: Swansea City 2 Leeds United 1

It’s a lunchtime kick-off for the Whites tomorrow when they face high-flying Swansea City. Fresh from two home draws this will be a stern test for Leeds as Swansea are in excellent form and are one of the best footballing sides in the division. United’s porous defence will have to show a marked improvement if they are to return from South Wales with their unbeaten run still intact. Expect more of the Max and Snoddy show, with the spoils shared.
Prediction: Swansea City 2 – 2 Leeds United.

Leeds head to Wales having been held to draws by lesser opposition on two occasions at Elland Road in the past week. Hopefully Simon Grayson will have brought someone else in for tomorrow to strengthen our depleted midfield. Swansea are in the top two on merit and I predict a tough afternoon at the Liberty Stadium, although if we can cut out the momentary lapses in concentration I can see us coming away with all three points.
Prediction: Swansea City 2 Leeds United 3
