Stoke City boss Michael O'Neill says the Potters are nursing a few knocks ahead of tonight's trip to face Leeds United.

The Whites welcome City to Elland Road this evening in Championship action as the season run-in continues.

O'Neill will be without long-term absentees Joe Allen and Thibaud Verlinden while Tom Edwards has been carrying a knock but should be fit enough for inclusion in LS11.

Stoke, though, have a few players battling through problems with O'Neill refusing to expand further ahead of kick-off.

“We have no fresh injuries," O'Neill told the Stoke website.

"Although we have one or two knocks and a few little concerns, but that’s natural given the regularity of games.

“The players are being pushed to their limits at the moment, and we are getting through four or five substitutes a game to try and give people recovery time.

“Saturday was nice in that respect as we were able to ease off a few by taking them off during the water break or shortly after that.

“The little injuries that we have will hopefully clear up for Thursday evening.”
