'Silly' - Interim boss Ryan Mason sizes up Tottenham Hotspur task at Leeds United
TOTTENHAM'S interim head coach Ryan Mason is full of respect for Leeds United ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash at Elland Road.
Spurs moved up to fifth place with Sunday evening's 4-0 romp at home to Sheffield United in which Gareth Bale netted the eighth hat-trick of his career.
Son Heung-Min was also on target as Tottenham moved five points off a Champions League place, but Mason is only thinking about the size of the task in store in Saturday's lunch time kick-off at Elland Road.
Asked if he was starting to believe that Tottenham could catch fourth-placed Chelsea or third-placed Leicester City, 29-year-old Mason said as quoted by football.london: "Honestly, we are not thinking about that, we have got four massive games, huge games.
"It is difficult to win Premier League games, we have seen that over the course of the season with many different teams.
"Tonight was important for us, it was a massive game.
"This week is a massive week for us, next weekend is a huge game as well, that is what we are looking to, we would be very silly as a group because next week will be a tough match and we need to go there fully prepared."
