Agbonlahor, it could be argued, has been harsh in his criticism of Leeds United and Marcelo Bielsa at times this season.

The pundit labelled Bielsa’s tactics as ‘naive’ in the wake of Leeds’ second consecutive 4-1 defeat in the Premier League against Crystal Palace back in November.

In the same month, Agbonlahor also explained that Whites’ fans should expect "wind-ups" from former players as part of the territory for being back in the big time.

And those just two examples of Agbonlahor's many brushes with Leeds fans.

Fast forward to February and Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 27 home league games against newly-promoted sides ahead of Leeds’ visit to the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

But former the Aston Villa striker is predicting, somewhat surprisingly given his track record with Leeds, that the Gunners’ run could come to an end today.

“I’m going for a Leeds win,” Agbonlahor stated on Sky Sports. "Leeds the way they are playing at the moment they're flying forwards and they’re playing as a team who are safe from relegation.”

"They’ve got no chance of going down. So every game that they’re playing now, they have no pressure on them. They can have their players fly forward.

“Raphinhia you've seen in recent weeks, Harrison for me has been outstanding - and Bamford.

"So I look at this Arsenal team and there’s more pressure on Arsenal to get a result today. Leeds if they lose, it's okay, they go onto the next game.

"The pressure is on Arsenal and, for me, Leeds have got the team and tactics to really upset this Arsenal team.

The Whites have gained with 32 points from 22 games so far this campaign, whilst Arsenal have earned 31 points from 23 fixtures.

"I think as well, you don’t look at Leeds as a team who have just been promoted because they’re playing with so much confidence,” Agbonlahor added.

"They way they are scoring goals, you don’t look at them as a promoted team as they look like they have been playing in the Premier League a number of years.

"I think this could be the game that record Arsenal has ends.

"For me, Leeds are the better side.”
