Leeds will come face to face with some familiar friends in Doyle, Cresswell, Lowry, Collins Vokes and Micky Adams in an eagerly awaited Yorkshire derby tomorrow. With the Blades fighting for their lives I’m sure they will come out all guns blazing attempting to put a break in our promotion hopes. I would hope to see Bannan start in place of Kilkenny and Becchio back in for Paynter. A tight game should ensue but a win is vital to keep the pressure up.

Prediction: Sheffield United 1 Leeds United 2

Leeds have quite rightly been heralded for the quality of their attacking play and entertainment this season but it’s points and results that matter now. Sheffield United are odds on for relegation and despite our poor record at Bramall Lane this is a game we can and must win.

Bannan should start with Becchio restored to the starting line up and I take that combination to score the goals in a narrow victory.

Prediction: Sheffield United 1 Leeds United 2

United travel to Bramall Lane this weekend for a Yorkshire derby, in which a victory would be meaningful to both teams. Leeds are looking for the three points to help them secure a play-off position. The Blades on the other hand will be looking to start a late escape from the relegation zone. I expect Micky Adams’ side to put up a fight, but ultimately, the strength of the United attack may be too much for them.

Prediction: Sheffield United 0 Leeds United 2

United head to Bramall Lane tomorrow for a Yorkshire Derby that is a real six-pointer for both sides. The Whites require the points to boost their promotion challenge while Mick Adams’ charges are desperately trying to avoid relegation to League One. With Becchio, Snodgrass and Gradel back to form I’m fully expecting the white United to register a long overdue three points in South Yorkshire.

Prediction: Sheffield United 1 Leeds United 2

Tomorrow’s Yorkshire derby is one of the most significant ones in recent years. A victory will ensure that we have a chance of automatic promotion but a loss would be worrying as we have a tough game against promotion rivals Nottingham Forest next up. I am hoping that Luciano Becchio will be restored to the line up after Grayson’s recent squad tinkering and he can inspire a much needed victory. Come on you Leeds!

Prediction: Sheffield United 1 Leeds United 2
