Leeds United are still in the process of selecting their next kit supplier despite reports of a deal with Adidas.

A national newspaper reported on Wednesday night that the Whites had struck a "lucrative" deal with the German sportswear giants for next season and beyond.

The YEP understands, though, that Leeds are still in the process of deciding whether to remain with current suppliers Kappa or opt for a different partner and reports of a deal being done are premature.

Italian company Kappa signed a five-year deal with Leeds at the start of the 2015/16 campaign with that contract due to expire at the end of the current term.

United are assessing their options and say that the process in selecting their next strip supplier has not ended yet.
