Poyet: 'I lost count of what went wrong at Leeds'

Gus Poyet claims he will probably never experience anything as bad as the problems he faced at Leeds.

Poyet, one of Juande Ramos' first-team coaches, has helped take three training sessions and there will be another today before the fourth-round tie against Championship opponents.

Speaking about his time at Elland Road, told the Daily Mail: "There were so many problems. I don't think I will ever experience as bad a situation for the rest of my coaching career. At Tottenham, there are rumours, but there are no big issues at the club. It is just about getting training right and turning results around.

"I lost count of the things that went wrong at Leeds and just couldn't believe it. The fans didn't want us there because of the rivalry with Chelsea.

"But we turned it around and the toughest thing Dennis and I had to do with the supporters in the end was keep them calm because they are confident the club will get promoted this season."
