Marcelo Bielsa’s men moved into the top half of the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles, courtesy of goals from Jack Harrison and Patrick Bamford.

The Whites are now 17 points clear of the relegation zone, and just seven behind fifth-placed Chelsea.

Monday’s clash at Elland Road also marked a number of milestones for key members of Bielsa’s squad, with Kalvin Phillips clocking up his 200th appearance for the club, and the aforementioned Bamford scoring his 100th career goal.

Reflecting on the match on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, Cooper wrote: “Some night under the lights!

"Congrats to the boys – Kalvin Phillips, 200 up. Patrick Bamford on 100 career goals! Some achievements.

"All focus on a trip to the Emirates. MOT”.

Jansson replied to the Scot’s comments with a tweet of his own, writing: “You had a fantastic game my friend.

“Happy to see and follow your journey in [the] Prem”.

Cooper helped Leeds to a seventh clean sheet of the season on Monday night, starting at the heart of defence alongside Pascal Struijk.

Despite that tally being the joint-ninth highest in the Premier League this season, the Whites still have the second-worst defensive record in the division, with only West Brom conceding more goals so far.

For his part, Jansson has been a regular for Championship promotion hopefuls Brentford this term, and has featured 14 times for the Bees.
