Pablo Hernandez returns to the bench for Leeds United's crunch clash against Fulham

PABLO HERNANDEZ returns to the bench with Leeds United's starting XI unchanged for Saturday afternoon's crunch clash against Fulham at Elland Road.

Hernandez missed last Sunday's 2-0 loss at Cardiff City with a minor muscle injury but the Spaniard returned to training at Thorp Arch this week.

Whites head coach Marcelo Bielsa said a decision would be taken on the playmaker's involvement after training on Friday and Hernandez returns to the match-day squad but only on the bench as Tyler Roberts again starts in the no 10 role.

Striker Jean-Kevin Augustin remains absent with the forward needing more fitness work whilst midfielder Adam Forshaw is also missing as he continues his recovery from hip surgery.

But Barry Douglas returns to the bench having missed the clash at Cardiff with a calf strain.

Mateusz Klich also makes his 100th appearance for the Whites in centre midfield.

Fulham boss Scott Parker has made one change to his side with Harry Arter replacing Neeskens Kebano who drops to the bench.

Second-placed Leeds know a victory would take them three points clear at the top of the Championship and open up an eight-point cushion in the division's automatic promotion spots.

Fulham start the day in fourth and seven points behind the Whites.
