Former Poland under-19s international Miazek came to Leeds in September on the back of a trial spell at Barnsley and the 21-year-old started Thursday afternoon’s clash with the Tigers at Thorp Arch.

But with Carlos Corberan’s United side 3-1 up, Miazek was shown a second yellow card in the 65th minute for bringing down Hull’s Greg Luer who converted the spot kick past replacement ‘keeper Harrison Male.

Mizek had earlier been booked in the first half for time wasting with United 1-0 up.

Leeds, though, netted a fourth goal just six minutes later when Liam Kitching hammered home a Tom Pearce free-kick to follow earlier Whites strikes from Eoghan Stokes, Romario Vieira and Oliver Sarkic who netted from the penalty spot after Mallik Wilks was fouled.

Sarkic has been on a half-season loan from Benfica and Leeds are now working on a permanent deal.

Goalkeeper Miazek, meanwhile, spent four years with Feyenoord in Holland between 2012 and 2016 but failed to break into their first-team plans.

Football Agency INNfootball claimed that Miazek had actually signed terms to join Leeds on Thursday morning with a photograph of the goalkeeper accompanied by the words ‘The done deal. Finally officially confirmed.’

Leeds have not confirmed that the shotstopper has officially joined.
