LEEDS UNITED have paid their respects in remembrance of Whites fans Christopher Loftus and Kevin Speight.

The supporters were fatally stabbed the night before United’s UEFA Cup semi-final first leg against Turkish side Galatasaray in Istanbul on Sunday, April 5, 2000.

Twenty years on, Whites midfielder Kalvin Phillips made a quick visit to a quiet Elland Road amidst the current social distancing measures to lay flowers in the duo's memory.

YEP photographer Simon Hulme was there.
