Reading defender Andy Yiadom will miss Leeds United's clash with the Royals on Tuesday night through suspension.

Mark Bowen's side fell to a 1-0 defeat at Brentford on Saturday afternoon in the Championship with the full-back picking up his fifth booking of the campaign.

Yiadom has been ever-present for his team this season, making 16 league appearances for the club so far bagging one goal and three assists from the right side of defence.

The Ghana international looks set to be replaced by Chris Gunter for the visit of the Whites, though the Royals utility man is yet to play a single minute of senior action this term.

Yiadom was linked with a move to Elland Road two summers ago under former head coach Paul Heckingbottom but any potential switch ended after he was replaced by Marcelo Bielsa in the Elland Road hotseat.

The 27-year-old put pen to paper on a four-year deal with Reading instead following the expiry of his contract with Barnsley after the club's relegation to League One.

Bowen's outfit had been on an impressive four game unbeaten run up until the weekend defeat at Griffin Park and will be looking to put things right against an in-form Leeds team.
