On his state of mind?

"We are all trying to help him and support him through this injury."

On Leicester without Vardy

"In the game against Everton they were the protagonists throughout. They had a style where they circulated the ball very quickly and a very marked offensive style. They played to try and attack and to try and position themselves in the opposition's half."

If you stayed in this position at the end of the season - 12th? How big an achievement would that be?

"You always have to look at how the team plays. What you achieve is evaluated in the way you achieve what you do."

Are Leicester title contenders?

"I think it would be too early (to say). I wouldn't be able to make a judgement about this - if you asked me about any team and the title race I would give you the same opinion."

Where are Leicester's other threats?

"I think what stands out the most with Leicester is the way they combine and elaborate in attack, that is the most dangerous thing about them."

On Raphinha's progress

"Similar to the way the team has played, with highs and lows, obviously some highs and some lows. But the characteristics of Raphinha coincide with the demands of the Premier League."

The change in structure of ownership this week and what makes good ownership?

"These are all aspects that have to do with the commercial side of football that I don't deal with."

Would playing in front of Leeds United's fans factor in your decision to stay at the end of the season?

"Always an institution like Leeds are going to be above what I want and what I need."

On Alioski, would you like him to stay? What have you said to Victor about him?

"I am only one opinion with regards to the equation and the evolution over whether Alioski stays or not. The first and foremost and most important thing is that he wants to stay. I think when it comes to a player staying at a club the first thing and most important thing is that the player wants to stay. The player should choose the club and after the club will decide whether they want him. But the main condition, the most important thing is the player wanting to stay. I think if Alioski chooses Leeds, Leeds will choose Alioski."

Any other injuries?

"After every game there are always knocks and as the game gets closer we find out the severity and whether they will be able to play in this game. At the moment there are no players with any important injuries."

Lessons from the first game against Leicester

"The games are not comparable and the reality of teams' change is on a weekly basis and the corrections that each team wishes to make are not linked to the next opponent but to the effects of the production that the team has."
