Nearly 6,000 days since that fateful afternoon at Bolton Wanderers which left Leeds United on the brink of relegation to the second tier, the club can once again call themselves a Premier League team. West Brom’s defeat at Huddersfield Town on Friday night confirmed what so many have been waiting for, while cementing Marcelo Bielsa’s name amongst the pantheon of greats.
Two fixtures may still remain, but focus now switches to the first top-flight campaign since 2003/04.
