Young Leeds United forward Frank Mulhern has joined National League side Southport on a three-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old, who signed his first professional contract with the club last summer, has scored three goals from five Under-23s appearances so far this season.
A statement on United’s website confirmed the deal and said: “We would like to wish Frank the very best of luck during his time with Southport.”
Former Whites youngster Lewis Walters has joined Nottingham Forest.
Meanwhile, United’s EFL Cup fourth round tie at home to Championship rivals Norwich City, will be played on Tuesday, October 25 at 7.45pm.
Off the field, United secretary Stuart Hayton left the club yesterday.
He joined the Whites last summer not long after the appointments of Uwe Rosler, Adam Pearson and Martyn Glover.
