YOUNG goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell has committed his future to Leeds United after signing a new three-year deal.
The 20-year-old shotstopper has signed new terms until the end of the 2019-20 season and is now likely to head out on loan.
Peacock-Farrell has made just one appearance for the first team to date – in the 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers at Elland Road in April 2016.
The keeper now looks set to head out on loan, almost certainly to League One outfit Oldham Athletic – managed by former Whites star John Sheridan.
United have four first team goalkeepers at present following the signing of Felix Wiedwald from Werder Bremen.
Wiedwald looks set to battle it out with last season’s first choice keeper Rob Green – with Marco Silvestri also looking to play after finding game time limited last term.
Highly-rated Peacock Farrell is already making strides on the international scene having gained a call up to the Northern Ireland Under-20s set up for a training camp earlier this summer.
Peacock-Farrell becomes the 13th United Academy player to sign a new deal with the club, after 12 new deals were announced last week.
