Leeds United’s all-white home kit has topped a poll to decide the best strip in the Football League this season.
Over 24,000 votes were cast, with the Whites’ home shirt taking 31 per cent of the vote for the Championship.
Leeds’ away kit also proved popular with fans, finishing second in the Football League.
The all-yellow ensemble, designed by makers Kappa, was voted as the best kit by 26 per cent of fans.
Leeds have gone without a sponsor on their strip this season, billing it as a traditional shirt that harkens back to football’s golden age.
Famously, the Elland Road club changed the colour of their shirts during Don Revie’s time in charge at Leeds, modelling their kits on Spanish giants Real Madrid and their famous pure white strip.
Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday’s home and away shirts came third and fourth in the overall poll respectively, and their home shirt was the second most voted for in the Championship.
