Listen to Neil Redfearn’s press conference ahead of Leeds United’s clash with Rotherham United at Elland Road.
Sam Byram v Richard Smallwood: Rotherham will most likely use Smallwood as a protective presence in front of their back four. He and Alex Mowatt will be in each other’s faces but it’s Byram who Rotherham should be most keen to negate after his performance at Hillsborough last weekend. Let him loose and Leeds are a more dangerous team altogether.
MILLERS KEY MAN
Matt Derbyshire: A player who has caused Leeds bother in the past and a vital member of Rotherham’s team in the second half of the season. Derbyshire’s come up with a few big goals when Steve Evans’ side needed them and he’s the leading scorer in a squad that doesn’t pose the biggest threat going forward.
PHIL HAY’S VIEW
This would have been a very different had Rotherham not made themselves safe on Tuesday. As it is, Saturday’s dead rubber at Elland Road is likely to matter more to Leeds than it does to their visitors. In front of a home crowd and in what could be Neil Redfearn’s last game as head coach, expect United to produce a result.
