Leeds United v Hull City team news: Rodrigo makes first Whites start and Kiko Casilla captain as Marcelo Bielsa makes eleven changes

Spanish international forward Rodrigo made his first appearance for the Whites in Saturday's Premier League opener at Liveroool when coming on as a 62nd-minute substitute for Patrick Bamford.

Four days later, the 29-year-old is now handed his first Whites start against the League One Tigers with the winners of the second round contest set to visit West Ham United in the third round which is the last 32.

Seventeen-year-old centre-back Charlie Cresswell, son of former Whites striker and ex-Academy coach Richard, also makes his first Whites league appearance in starting at centre-back while fellow young defender Oliver Casey is also handed his first Leeds start as part of a side in which Kiko Casilla is named captain in replacing Illan Meslier in goal.

There are also starts for Leif Davis, Barry Douglas, Jamie Shackleton, Mateusz Bogusz, Ian Poveda, Gjanni Alioski and Tyler Roberts.

Five starters from the opening day clash at Liverpool feature on the bench in Meslier, Pascal Struijk, Kalvin Phillips, Jack Harrison and Patrick Bamford, alongside Robbie Gotts and Alfie McCalmont.

New signing Robin Koch is missing along with five others who started at Anfield in Luke Ayling, Stuart Dallas, Mateusz Klich, Helder Costa and Pablo Hernandez.

Club captain Liam Cooper, who missed the Liverpool clash with a calf issue, is again absent while Adam Forshaw remains out as he recovers from hip surgery.

None of United's young summer signings for the future are involved while former Whites defender Lewie Coyle is named captain of a Tigers side featuring six changes for whom another former Leeds player in forward Mallik Wilks also starts.

Daniel Batty, who also starts for Hull, was released by Leeds as a youngster.
