Rodrigo suffered what looked like a groin injury in Sunday's 3-1 win at Leicester City and is not part of the match-day squad to face the Toffees.

Polish international Klich comes back into the side to take his place but Brazilian winger Raphinha starts despite also going off injured against Leicester.

Whites no 9 Patrick Bamford also starts despite limping at the end of the victory against the Foxes, something the striker said was just a dead leg.

Ian Poveda misses out altogether having hobbled off injured for United's under-23s on Monday.

Jack Jenkins and Niall Huggins both come on to the bench.

Leeds are already without defenders Diego Llorente (muscular injury), Robin Koch (knee surgery) and Gaetano Berardi (ACL tear) plus long term absentee Adam Forshaw (hip).

Whites midfielder Kalvin Phillips appeared to be having issues with his hip in the warm up but received treatment and appeared comfortable as the warm up finished.
