PABLO HERNANDEZ replaces Ronaldo Vieira as head coach Garry Monk makes one change to the Leeds United side that started last Saturday’s Championship win at Wolves for this afternoon’s Championship clash with Burton Albion at Elland Road.

Hernandez returns from the dead leg that kept him out of both last Saturday’s win at Molineux, and Tuesday night’s EFL Cup clash with Norwich City.

The Spaniard returns at the expense of Vieira who drops to the bench where there is no place for Matt Grimes.

Gaetano Berardi also returns to the bench in place of Lewie Coyle who is out for between six and 12 weeks with a knee injury.

There are nine changes to the side that started Tuesday night’s EFL Cup clash with Norwich, with Rob Green replacing Marco Silvestri in goal.

Luke Ayling comes in for Coyle at right back with Charlie Taylor back in for Berardi at left back.

Pontus Jansson returns at centre-back to partner captain Kyle Bartley, who also started against Norwich.

The other changes see Grimes, Vieira, Alex Mowatt, Marcus Antonsson and Souleymane Doukara replaced by Kalvin Phillips, Eunan O’Kane, Hadi Sacko, Hernandez and Chris Wood.

Kemar Roofe is the only other player to start who also started against Norwich.

Leeds United: Green, Ayling, Bartley, Jansson, Taylor, O’Kane, Phillips, Sacko, Hernandez, Roofe, Wood. Subs: Silvestri, Cooper, Doukara, Vieira, Berardi, Antonsson, Mowatt.

Burton Albion: McLaughlin, McFadzean, Turner, Dyer, Palmer, Brayford, Irvine, Ward, O’Grady, Williamson, Akins. Subs: Mousinho, Bywater, Naylor, Choudhury, Miller, Beavon, Flanagan.
