LEEDS United head coach Uwe Rosler will make a last-minute decision on whether to play winger Stuart Dallas against Brighton but Lewis Cook will start despite picking up a shoulder injury with England Under-19s.

Both players have been away on international duty with Dallas playing twice for Northern Ireland last Thursday and Sunday to help them seal qualification for Euro 2016.

Cook has also played 180 minutes for England Under-19s on Saturday and Tuesday where Rosler revealed the midfielder picked up a knock to the shoulder but while Cook “will be ready” Rosler will assess Dallas on match day.

Recent injury concerns Chris Wood and Gaetano Berardi are both fully fit leaving Dallas the only doubt to Rosler’s first team plans.

Rosler said of Dallas: “He has had an extra four games now with Northern Ireland so he is now at 15 games already.

“Yes it has crossed my mind is he mentally and physically 100 per cent ready for tomorrow.

“Of course he wants to be - he’s a great lad with a great attitude who gives all he has but I delay that decision until tomorrow.”

Asked about the condition of Cook, Rosler replied: “He got a whack on the shoulder but I think he will be all right.

“Cooky has not played as much as normal players because of the suspension and he’s young so he has a shorter recovery time and is mentally tough.

“He is one of my top players. He will be ready.”

Number two ‘keeper Ross Turnbull faces a length lay-off with a broken ankle meaning Charlie Horton will sit on the bench though Rosler will look at bringing in a new deputy long term.

Rosler also said Jordan Botaka was “looking good” in training having been away with the DR Congo national team.
