Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn will be forced to change his defence again on Saturday after Giuseppe Bellusci incurred a one-match ban.

Bellusci received his fifth yellow card of the season during yesterday’s 2-2 draw with Charlton Athletic and will miss the visit of Blackpool to Elland Road. Redfearn altered the centre of his defence in midweek with captain Jason Pearce banned for one match but Pearce is available this weekend and will partner Liam Cooper against Blackpool.

Cooper’s appearance yesterday was his first start for over a month but the run of suspensions has given him a chance to re-establish himself in the side.

Redfearn is continuing to monitor the fitness of striker Billy Sharp and midfielder Rodolph Austin.

But the 49-year-old said: “They’ve stepped up their rehab’ this week and I’m hoping that by Saturday at least one of them will be fit.”
