There is currently a three-way tie at the top of the PDL northern section ahead of tomorrow's fixtures as Birmingham City, who lead the way on goal difference, have accrued 27 points so far this campaign alongside the Clarets and United.

Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford could continue his comeback against Burnley in the Under-23s.

Leeds though have played one game less than their counterparts having won eight, drawn three and lost three this season.

Burnley are set to pose the Whites a tough test having stretched their unbeaten run to eight games in all competitions last time out with a 1-1 draw against Crewe Alexandra in league action.

Corberan's men head into the fixture having fallen to Premier League Cup defeat at Newcastle United two weeks ago but ran out 3-1 winners over Sheffield United at Stocksbridge Park previously with Tyler Roberts grabbing a brace.

The Welsh international could again be made available for selection by Marcelo Bielsa as Izzy Brown and Patrick Bamford may also make the trip across the Pennines in hope of stepping up their comebacks after lengthy spells on the sidelines.

Bamford, who was included in the Argentine's senior match day squad on Saturday against QPR, returned to action against the Magpies coming through 45 minutes unscathed in Northumberland.

Chelsea loanee Brown also featured in the defeat as he made his second appearance for the club as he continues his recovery from a torn ACL completing 80 minutes of the cup tie.

In the reverse fixture in early October United looked to be cruising to victory and all three points at Elland Road before two late goals earned Burnley a share of the spoils in a thrilling 2-2 draw.

The PDL clash is set for a 1pm kick-off in Lancashire and is being played behind closed doors.
